| Biography When I was little, my parents thought they had an autistic child, I woke up to the world at three years old under the surprised eyes of the entire family, sketching, drawing and painting with any substance and objects that leaves a mark almost compulsively with no explanation; in any possible surface in the house, floors, closets doors, toilette seats and any white or colorful space that I was able to reach. That was my first art awakening.
I was fortunate to have two extraordinary people for parents, sophisticated, simple, educated and firm believers in the power of changing and modeling human lives trough been proactive, making reality anything one can do individually to improve and affect all people around, they always observe all beyond the surface capturing the real depth of life with a humble respect and a great sense of humor. They let me do as I wanted to do; my home was adjusted to my energetically hurricane effect with a protection coat of paint easy to clean, on all reachable surfaces. This stimulated the way I communicated with my surroundings through images. At that time I guess it became my first gallery exhibit having all my parents’ friends and work colleagues as an audience. A long journey of forty years traveling all over the world in every continent due my parents activities first, related to Diplomacy, Forensic Reporting and Human Rights then my own involvement with similar activities and Elite World Gymnastics competitions and training, growing up in different cultures and exposed to unique characters and situations has inspire me. I have been so lucky to have met incredible people that today appear in history books; the cool part was that I meet them relaxed in the intimate setting of my home kitchen, their home living rooms, public meetings, unusual gatherings, where they really were humans and not the figures that they have become. These people gave me a confident sense of no boundaries coming from diverse cultures, backgrounds and opportunities of education, beyond social classes and their sociopolitical responsibilities and multiple languages which makes me embrace the openness of communicating with less prejudice and a strange foreign accent in all languages I do speak |
